This is a new blog created by apmgstaff, office of the CPMG, Trivandrum for enabling Divisional heads, Postmasters, APM(SB), SBCO In-charge and System Administrators of Kerala Postal Circle to post their problems in implementing corebanking solutions at the identified HPOs. All problems viz. software, hardware, manpower, technical, infrastructure issues may be posted here. The visitors who are able to give solutions to the problems reported are requested to offer their valuable views so that the others can also get the benefit.

  2. In the initial phase, only ten selected HPOs in Kerala Circle are covered by corebanking.

  3. Please confirm whether tender for outsourcing has been floated. The timeline may be strictly adhered to. Minutes of the meeting on 6.10.09 is being sent separately.

  4. AS PER NIT MINIMUM 10 HANDS HAS TO BE ENGAGED FOR DATA ENTRY WORK IN V2SBCO. NOW THE WORK IS CARRIED OUT IN STAND ALONE NODE. IS IT POSSIBLE TO WORK WITH V2SBCO IN NETWORK ENVIRONMENT

  5. V2SBCO software does not support network environment. It is to be loaded in the ten systems separately. Each HO/SO has separate database (one Acc file and one TRA file) for each scheme (SB,RD etc). Database of a group of offices to be copied to each system. If 50 offices are available, data in respect of 5 offices each is to be loaded in each system. The SB-3 cards, vouchers schedules etc are to be grouped according to the above distribution and entrusted to the data entry operator. If monthwise this is done, monitoring will be easy.
